Ticket sales begin on February 18, 2025: General Music Director Christian Thielemann will conduct Wagner's Ring Cycle at the start of the 2025/26 season.

Dmitri Tcherniakov’s highly acclaimed production of Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen returns to the stage of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden at the start of the 2025/26 season with two cycles. Christian Thielemann, who led the Staatskapelle Berlin during the premieres in October 2022, which were praised by both audiences and critics, will now conduct Wagner’s monumental masterpiece as the General Music Director of the Staatsoper.
Ticket sales for Der Ring des Nibelungen begin on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 12 pm.
Ring performances can only be booked as a full cycle. Tickets are available online at staatsoper-berlin.de, via email at tickets@staatsoper-berlin.de, by phone at +49 30 20 35 45 55, or in person at the box office in the foyer of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
With a stellar cast featuring Michael Volle (Wotan and The Wanderer), Anja Kampe (Brünnhilde), Andreas Schager (Siegfried), Vida Miknevičiūtė (Sieglinde), Eric Cutler (Siegmund), Mika Kares (Fasolt, Hunding, and Hagen), Johannes Martin Kränzle (Alberich), Claudia Mahnke (Fricka), Anna Kissjudit (Erda), and Stephan Rügamer (Mime), alongside the Staatsopernchor and the Staatskapelle Berlin, audiences will once again experience the outstanding singers who captivated in the premiere cycle—with only a few cast changes.
