Thoma Jaron-Wutz
Thoma Jaron-Wutz began his career at the age of six in the Staats- und Domchor Berlin as a boy soprano/soloist. He started his vocal studies in 2018 at the Berlin University of Arts. Two years later he became a prize winner at Bundeswettbewerb Gesang. In 2021, Thoma participated in the opera studio production of the Bregenz Festival. Furthermore he performed the role of Hänschen in the contemporary opera Frühling, Erwachen in Budapest in 2022. In the same year Thoma Jaron-Wutz was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium. He is a prize winner of the International Singing Competition Schloß Rheinsberg 2023 and a current scholarship holder of the Horst & Gretl Will Foundation. Thoma occasionally sings in the Rias Chamber Choir and the Berlin Radio Choir. He sings in oratorio concerts since the beginning of his career. At the end of 2023 he sang the role of an apprentice in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and has been singing the role of Dick in Die Dollarprinzessin at the Mecklenburg State Theatre since spring 2024. Song recitals have taken him to Zurich, Rheinsberg and Berlin. From the season 2024/2025 Thoma Jaron-Wutz will be a member of the opera studio at the Komische Oper Berlin.
