Welcome to the world of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Join the students of the Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin on a fascinating journey: The Little Prince leaves his planet out of unrequited love and travels through the universe searching for friendship, humanity and love. His questions to the world, his experiences with it illustrate: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
At the end of his journey into the adult world, he finds the strength to return to his planet and to his love…
It has been a decade-long tradition that every year the students of the Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin present the results of their training on the stages of the opera houses of Berlin with a festive gala. From the youngest to the graduates –  all students are part of a show, which presents the many facets of a professional dance education and which also requires the adolescent artists to demonstrate their capabilities and their joy for a unique profession. Under the artistic direction of Berlin Kammertänzer Gregor Seyffert, the young dancers proof that they preserve and cherish the classical-academic heritage and, at the same time, are not afraid of the challenges of contemporary choreographies.
