It goes without saying that you can always see excellent and top-notch art on the Museum Island (Museumsinsel) in Berlin. However, something you might not be expecting is that on ten Sundays during the 2014/2015 season, you can also listen to chamber music here too, in the Bode-Museum. Musicians of Staatskapelle Berlin will be playing one-hour concerts featuring works from the Baroque, Classic, Romantic and early Modern periods in the Tapestry Hall.

Before you enjoy the concert why not visit the museum café where we will be offering you a glass of prosecco. This is also a great place to stop by for a bite to eat afterwards. We’ve put together some special seasonal sweet and savoury deals for you such as coffee and cake for 5.80 € or traditional Berlin potato soup together with a cold or hot drink for 6.80 €. Or perhaps you would like to visit one of the exhibitions in our museum (museum entry is included in your concert ticket). The obvious thing to do is to visit the »object of the day« which we will be presenting to you immediately prior to the beginning of the concert. There’s a guided tour on offer here so that you can get a closer look at this object. Participation in the tour is, of course, covered by the concert and tour combination ticket.

Meeting for the tour: 12.30 in the foyer of the Bode-Museum, at the statue of the horseman.
